Create a chart in Bex

What is the procedure for creating a chart in Bex. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi,

You can also use standard function of BEX toolbar - Layout button then Attach diagram.

Thanks for the replies.

Wondering if there is any functionality to keep the workbook query and chart query different in the same workbook, same worksheet / different worksheet.Main purpose is to keep the chart constant irrespective of the user makes a drilldown / extra char selection from the free chars.

Hi BWer,

You should be able to move the chart around in the worksheet. You can also try a simple Cut and Paste to move the chart onto a different worksheet.

When you make settings for a chart, particularly origin cells, you can point out to another worksheet. No problems.

Hi,

You get your query result in Excel. And you can use all Excel features, including adding charts, mapping them with the result cells and so on. The ordinary work with Excel.
