CATS Authorization

Dear Friends

I'm Facing a Issue In MSS for CATS approval where I'm unable to approve the Attendances, but I can approve the working hours with out any issues.

I've already assigned the authorizations to my roles in R/3. P_ORIGIN, P_PERNR, P_PCLX. but still its not working for users. can you please let me know how can I solve this issue.

usually we have virtual infotypes for CATS ie IT0316 or it0328

can you check this authorisation, also take a trace using St01 for the user above, you ll see missing authorisation!

did you assign the MSS role in backend?

Hi Sid

I've maintained roles in Backend for MSS users. SAP_MANAGER_MSS_NWBC, SAP_HR_PT_TIME-ADMINISTRATOR, SAP_HR_PT_TIMESUPERVISOR, SAP_ISR_RETAIL_STORE & also maintained few dummy Infotypes like 0315,0316, 0328 in authorization objects but still not resolved. we even tried doing Tracing in ST01 but we are unable to view the missing authorization data. we even tried with SAP_ALL auth also. but nothing seems to be working.

Kindly provide any other suggestions!!!

Hi Pradyp,

Not sure if this will help, but have you tried T-Code SU53 to check what Authorizations are failing.

Try to approve the attendances and then open T-Code SU53 to see what Authorization has failed.
