SAP BPC Cube Stabilization for version 801

Hi experts,

I would like to ask about the bpc cube stabilization. In my previous project we implement SAP Notes 1689814 to stabilize the technical names of BPC cubes and prevent them from changing after the transport.

In my current project I need to implement this note again. However I recognized that the version of my BPC environment is 801 while this note is only applicable to BPC version 800.

My question are:

1. In this version of BPC, are the technical names of the cubes are already set to stabilize so there is no need to implement this note to prevent them from changing?

2. If the BPC cubes is still not stabilized in this version, how can we prevent the technical names of BPC from changing? We cannot implement this notes because it is only valid to BPC version 800.

Find some references and some attachments that might make my points clearer.

Hi Siswono,

1. You need to set ENABLE_FIXEDCUBENAME .

2. Same as 1. You can just set the above parameter in this version as well.

Hi Kalyan,

I believe that we need a confirmation whether this note is really applicable for BPC version 801. Our basis guys are afraid that implementing this note will affect all units from our environment if it is not compatible.

And also how we can set ENABLE_FIXED_CUBENAME parameter in the transaction code SPRO? I have looked over any documents including the one that I have attached in below link, but it is only documented without mentioning where to set this parameter.
