Hi,
We are using "Custom Filters" for our KPIs (3rd filter after Leading/Lagging and Quantitative/Qualitative) to group KPIs for business purposes. All is working fine for basic KPIs, but when we create an "Indexed KPI" the system will default this KPI to our first filter value and apparently there's no place where we can maintain this assignment for "Indexed KPIs" as it is not available on the relevant screen.
Has anyone else come accross this issue? Your feedback will be appreciated.

Rodolfo

You are right - there is no way to assign an Index KPI to a category on which you can filter.
I would suggest you raise an enhancement request in the Ideas Place. They take a while to come through but at least it gets logged.

Hi Colin, thanks for your input. Though I understand that no functionality for "Filter Categories" regarding "Indexed KPIs" is provided, I think what I have described is a bug due to the fact that "Indexed KPIs" get assigned to the first value in the category filter. If assignment is unsupported I would expect no category filter assignment at all for Indexed KPIs. The fact that they're assigned by default to the first category value just seems arbitrary and incorrect to me, besides greatly limiting the Filter Category functionality whenever you have Indexed KPIs.

Rodolfo
