Transport of Source System Assigment

Hello, I was wondering if someone could explain the steps to be able to transport Transfer rules with the assigment of the source system from one BW server (DEV) to the QAS region. Because I'm reciving the warning error: Source Systems are not transported (RS0321).

The Source system already exists on both BW Enviroments with the same Name, and the QAS Region is closed to any direct changes.

Short answer: You can (probably) ignore the message.

Long answer: In the transport-connection you had probably included all objects 'in data flow before'? In this case the source system will be included as an object, but (logically) it will not be transported. In stead it will be converted to whatever you have set in the conversion table.

did u replicate ur ds's in qa(bw) before transporting transfer rules of dev(bw) to qa(bw).
