Web Dynpro iViews Don't Show Up



We are using a smart card to logon to the portal, meaning we don't have to key in our username and password to the Portal logon screen. With this logon method, however, we cannot see any Web Dynpro iViews.

According to a SAP help documentation, "All Web Dynpro applications are automatically assigned to the default authentication scheme, which in turn references the ticket login module stack." This "default" authentication scheme is "uidpwdlogon" which requires form-based logon with user ID and password. This tells why we cannot see the iViews.

I was thinking to change the "default" to reference other Authentication Scheme, but am not sure what is appropriate. Any idea?
