restore deleted abap program in sap

hi expert .

i have big problem.

i write a program in abap and after move in production server ,i add some code to it and then i delete these code and then activate program.

after these works i found that my work was mistake and now i have to restore old source.is it possible?

is there any trash or log table for deleted abap code?

sorry i have not version.my last version belong to very old cod.

and i change these in production client 700

Program should not be changed in production environment.

Hi Marayam,

You should always keep back up of changes you are doing for report in live environment i.e. PAE.

or go with version management.

You should be able to restore the previous version using SE38.  Select Utilities -> Versions -> Version Management from the pull-down menu.  Identify the previous version and select Retrieve.

Hi,

Yes you can do it .

Please check the transport that was moved to production had only this code or another code also. If this only re-import the old transport with overwrite option.

If that transport has other code also and u dont want to overwrite other code then go in development system where the transport was generated in se38 in that program and then in

Utility --> Vesion --> version management

then select the correct transport that you want as active version and click on retrieve and then add that in transport request.

you can move it in production.
