IC configuration with Oracle Servicename

Hello Everyone,

I am a newbee and trying to install and configure Identity Centre. I am currently stuck in the configuration of IC. Problems faced :

1. Oracle DB is installed in RAC and we have been provided with servicename and not SID.

2. While configuring "JDBC Config Wizard" it fails as it expects only SID (which I dont have).

Looking forward to get the resolution from the techies.

I would advise checking with your DBAs and asking for a sample JDBC connection string with a service name and then you should know what to map into IDM

it looks like you only have one problem and for that you should ask your techies, especially the ones who have installed and configured the database.
