Is this action dangerous for my sap-system?

Thanks for your help.

SAPXIAFC12P = XI Adapter Framework Core

If you're running a XI environment I would say: yes

I would say no. Undeploy and redeploying the application should not impact. That is what SAP says.

    Hi Stefan.

What do you mean with "dangerous"?

If you undeploy SAPXIAFC12P your adapter framework will not work. It means that if you use XI you'll be not able to process any messages. But your R/3 system will not crash.

If you want to undeploy it just to deploy another version (or the same one) later on, then it is relativelly dangerous if your pipeline is still working. The message that is already processing in XI will have no chance to be sent somewhere, because RFC adapter, HTTP adapter, JDBC adapter, File adapter and other stuff are in this SCA that you are going to undeploy. But still you can undeploy it (later on you'll see an error in message monitor and if you deploy this SCA again you can reprocess fault messages again).

But anyway if you have version conflict it is always suspicious. You must have all SCAs of XI installation of the same SP version.

    Best regards,
