solman 7.1 problem with SEND TO SAP

dear guys,

i'm trying to test the scenario of incident management. I'm testing the SAP COLLABORATION field in CRM_UI.

However when it checks the prerequisite for sending the info to SAP it shows things like

Validation of the given information shows inconsistencies.

Details Contact person is missing in transaction 8000000064.

Details Installation number is missing in transaction 8000000064.

Details Installation number is not assigned to a customer.

I do not know if is it related but the field SOLD_TO_PARTY is empty and only the REPORTED BY is filled.

The installed base is even greyed out.

Everything is ok for Business partner of the reporter and he is the contact person for the right  company.

Someone can help me to understand what is wrong?

Hello All,

just an update. I have followed the suggestion Kamil  (adding the sold to party and installation ibase manually) and now the problem is restricted to

Contact person is missing in transaction 8000000065.

I Have followed even what Suhel suggested and for the customer I have filled the form for the master data for the customer.

I do not see under the tree of my customer any sap system. it show NON-SAP-SYSTEM.

Is it this normal?

Hi Bruno to add contact person field please click on the key icon and on the new popup window add field

Did you run IB_GEN Tcode ? There are any sap systems in IB52 tcode ?

Hello kamil,

thanks again for the kind answer. However strangly I do not have the button you showed me in the picture. Do I have to personalize the screen in order to see it?

I'm really astonished of all those manual steps.

In your scenario do you do exactly as I'm doing?

In IB52 i do see all the system correctly referenced to the customer number. But in master data from CRM_UI shows only the customer number but no system down its tree.

Hello Bruno,

To see the button highlighted by Kamil, you need to enable the configuration mode.

tcode sm_crm-->personalize-->personalize settings--> click the check box "enable configuration mode" under  configuration mode section of screen. save your changes.

did you executed the ib_gen tcode to transfer the ibase to master data.also please post the screen shot.

Hello Bruno,

Are you not using the guided procedure in solman 7.1 to configure the ITSM. Their is dedicated guided procedure available in solman_setup tcode for configuring the ITSM.

Also please check following

1) These four S-User authorizations are required for message processor of ITSM to send message to SAP:

Confirm Customer Messages
Create Customer Messages
Send Customer Messages to SAP
Open Service Connections (optional, if your Processor should be authorized to open Service Connection for SAP Collaboration)
Maintain System Data (SOLMAN_BTC)

Run the authorization report on service market place /user-admin to ensure that your S-User has at least authorization objects mentioned above.


2) then start the transaction AISUSER in solman and Maintain your message processor User ID and the corresponding S-User-ID

3)If the customer number wasnot maintained in SE16 -> Table: V_AISAPCUSTNOS, please update via transaction SPRO ->SAP Reference IMG -> SAP Solution Manager -> Basic Settings -> Connection to SAP and then click on #Maintain SAP Customer Number# and manually update the customer number.

If SE16 -> Table: V_AIINSNRS is missing the Customernumber: In order to
populate the table, please execute the job REFRESH_ADMIN_DATA_FROM_SUPPORT which should update the table V_AIINSNRS.

Hello Suhel,

It is what I have exactly executed. All those steps you mention have been executed successfully.

However  what it seems missing is the association system --> ibase when I create the message from

http://HOSTNAME:PORT/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ags_work_incident_create_app

it does not correctly work.

any further suggestion?

Hi,

goto tcode IB52 and select the corresponding ibase. Then via menu goto -> partner and assign the business partner of the organisation. Check, if theres a valid relation between the reporter and the sold-to-party in tcode bp.

Ensure you havge the corresct settings in tcode smsy_setup -> expert settings for the generation of business partners and systems from OSS.

In V_AISAPCUSTNO set the "generate all" flag so the systems are fully generated from OSS.

Hello Bruno,

1)Run transaction IB_GEN in solman and mark the system (for which you want to generate ibase) from the popup and confirm the ibase creation.

2)

call transaction SM_CRM and navigate to ‘Master Data’.Choose ‘Installed Bases’
in area ‘Search’.Ensure that the Business Role ‘SOLMANPRO’ is assigned to your user.


in Search result-->Choose IBase SOL_MAN_DATA_REP

Maintain data for IBase Component(generated in previous step) like Name, Address and sold to party involved.
