Hi All,

I have a doubt in Factory calender.

I have created few factory calender and linked holiday calender to it till 2020 year

Now my requirement is to declare two date as non working day for specific year say 2014.

So i can't declare this in holiday calender because it's only applicable for year 2014. Correct me if i am wrong.

To declare this two date as holiday for 2014 can i decalre the special rules for that factory calender and keep the Work day checkbox as unticked.

This will solve my purpose right.

But my doubt is this special rules dates also considered as leave apart from the dates mentioned in holiday calender right.

Regards,

MBN.

Hi MBN,

Yes you need to define those days as non working day in special rule.

You can view calendar for year 2014 it will appear in "yellow "color means as holiday.

Just for information check below screen shot.

Revert back with your quires.

As said by other experts, use special rule in factory calendar.

Hello,

1. Special Rule: Based on the above workdays settings in the factory calendar, the Public holidays are considered as off days if the checkbox Public Holiday is not selected. If the checkbox is selected all public holidays are considered as working days.

Now If you want a particular public holiday to be considered as a working day (but not all public holidays as working days) you need to maintain a special rule and specify the from date, to date and check the workday checkbox.

This special rule is then maintained in the factory calendar.

Hope this helps
