HOuse Bank deletion

Hello All,

Good Evening. Some of our House Bank have not been in use for long. Pls let me know the best practice that whether these should be deleted or any other option.

    Go to FBZP transaction , delete all the relevant house bank configurations.

    Or else , you can keep as it is, if you have closed the banks accounts , then remove from the configurations.

    If you still want to delete the House bank, follow the below steps:

    Before deleting house bank you need to consider below things.

    • Do not delete the house bank directly.
    • Make the GL account balance as zero for the house bank.
    • Then block this GL master
    • Then remove all the assignments of house bank and account ID in FBZP.
    • Close the check lot information for this house bank.

    Then this house bank will become ineffective. If you delete this house bank, the effect will be that for check information, it will show with incorrect house bank.

    If you are not concerned about these things, you can delete house bank.
