Problem extracting 2LIS_03_BX into 0IC_C03

Hi All,

I have problem when extracting the data to 0IC_C03.

I think this is common problem. I can see the data in the fact table but I can't see the data in the cube.

After I compress the data, I can't see all the data in the fact table.

I have already read the document 'How to Handle Inventory Management ...' but the problem still occured.

Maybe I missing something. What I did before :

1. Activate the data source.

2. Activate the structure by tcode LBWE.

3. Initialize the stock by tcode MCNB.

4. Determine the industry sector from SBIW and I choose Standard(Core).

5. Set the application indicator 'BW' from tcode BF11.

6. I Check the transaction key from SBIW and I think there are has already activated by default. I can see application component MM in there.

7. Replicate the data structure in BW.

8. Extract the data to BW and I saw in the monitor :

Update PSA (231 records posted) : No Errors

Transfer Rules (231 --> 231 records) : No Errors

Update Rules (231 --> 221 records) : No Errors

Update (221 new/0 changed) : No errors

--> 221 records added to fact table 0IC_C03

I can see the value in the fact table. But I can NOT

see from Infocube's content.

9. I compressed the request above without check the 'No Marker Update' field. Then, I can NOT see the value in

both place (fact and cube)

Maybe you can let me know if there is missing from my steps. Thanks a lot and very appreciate of your help.

Martin,

BX is not visible means you cannot see records in cube..it will show green with some active records....ok..

Marker setting is done for the inventory cube and now you have to load bf and um data to cube.

after that you can see the records in query....

Anyway, I also have the problem when extracting the data using 2LIS_03_BF. I'm using the initialize infopackage for this.

The monitor gave me the following status :

1. Update PSA (836 records posted): no errors

2. Transfer Rules (836 --> 836 records): no errors

3. Update Rules (836 --> 0 records): no errors

4. Update (0 new / 0 changed): No errors

5. After that I compressed with check on the 'No marker update' box.

6. I run my own test query and there is NO data appear.

it seems that there is NO data going to the cube.

Does anybody ever get problem in the update rules ?

because it should be standard and I didn't change anything. How come the data can't be transfered from standard update rules ? Is there any mandatory field ?

Martin,

BX should be loaded only when there is no material movements posted/user should not enter data/program should not run.

You have followed these procedure....if it is done then go for BF....

then go for loading BF data to cube and compression should be done carefully...refer the document- inventory management.

Anyway, i have the 'How to handle inventory management scenarios in BW' document.

I have already debug the update rules and I found the process key and application component fields are blank.

Does it mean i didn't activate them yet ?

Actually i didn't activate anything in R/3 since i saw there are some records with application component 'MM' in the table.

the other thing that I investigate is when I extract the stock initialization (2LIS_03_BX), all my records had application component = 'COR'. I think it should be 'MM' right ?

Please let me know what do you think.

Did you filled up set up tables for bf and um?

Don't do debug the update rules..your problem is not in the update rules...ok

you have problem in dataloading and compression.

i will explain in details after some time....

Which setup table do I need to fill for BF and UM ?

Actually, I have already extracted almost ALL the master data of material management.

I don't think 0PROCESS and 0BWAPPLNM are master data. so I dont need to extract them right ?

Hi,

I hope, this is the problem with process keys . Records are comming till update rules, so there is data in setup table. Trnsfer the information about process key from source system.

Take a look on the note: 353042

I hope, it will solve the problem.

Fill up set up table using tcode- olizbw and oli2bw...before that delete records - setup table...using lbwg

check rsa3 after filluping set up tables....
