RFx Migration via OMA is failing

Hello Experts,

I am currently working in Sourcing 9.0.06.01.
I am facing an issue while migrating an RFx and Auction from one
instance to other instance. I was able to migration successfully in
Sourcing 7.0, but once the servers are upgraded to Sourcing 9, the
migration is failing (Context ids, cluster ids and directories ids of
both the servers are same). Do I need to enable any system properties
for the same? Can anyone suggest a solution or turn around so that I
can migrate an Awarded RFxs and Auctions successfully.

Hi Vigneshwar,

Using object migration approach for business documents is really not supported and I wouldn’t recommend it. There are too many dependencies on business documents and if any one of them is out of sync it would fail.

If this is for testing purposes and if  you need a system with all the transactional data, you may want to consider doing a db writeback.

Thanks for your valuable information. But I just want to know more detail on ' doing a db writeback'.

Can you pls share me detail knowledge on the same.
