Check RSOE connection

Hi,

I have a requirement where I am trying to connect a native android application to SUP 2.1.3.

The relay server and outbound enablers are set up. The status is running for outbound enablers.

How can I make sure I am using relay servers to establish connection between SUP and mobile app.

Regards,

Dhruv

    you need to enter following details while connecting to relay server:

    ServerIP

    ServerPort (Http(s))

    FarmID --> Using which you connected your SUP server to relay server

    for more details, check

    If you are using the relay server you need to pass the relay server IP and ports from the device instead of passing the IP and ports of SUP. Relay server will acts as reverse proxy. Thereby the user will not know whether what is the IP of the SUP server and the ports opened in the SUP server (which is present in internal firewall of enterprise), hence hacking of systems can be eliminated.

    Relay servers are in the DMZ (demilitarized zone) which is outside the internal network.

    The user has to enter the respective farm Id from device. You there is no relay server keep the farm Id as "0". You can make the app work in both the scenarios. Hence if the relay is used the user has to enter the farm id of the relay server and other details else they can keep it as 0.

    The only change in the device coding will be addition of networkstreamparameter.

    Ex:

    SYNC_NETSTREAMPARAMS = "url_suffix=/ias_relay_server/client/rs_client.dll/+RBS_FARM"

    connectionProfile.setNetworkStreamParams(SYNC_NETSTREAMPARAMS);
