Hi Guys,
I am working on distribution of Service center master data from the central SAP system to other loosely connected SAP system around the globe in my company.
Now when I send the IDOC from this central system to other SAP systsms then it is a outbound ALE process. But at the same time for those SAP systems it wil be a ALE inbound process.
So in this scenario do I need to work for both ALE inbound and outbound ?
Can we say that push approach is related to outbound ALE process and when we use pull approach we have to work on inbound ALE process....
I am confused little bit here.
Please elaborate
hi,
Outbound Process - Sending
in your scenario you configure the outbound process which is enough for the sending side. ( idoc will be send to receiving system )
Inbound Process - Receiving
In the same process is inbound for Receiving side ( the recive the idoc and create the document )
cheers,
sasi

Yes : Outbound at the Sendging System
Inbound at the receiving System.
