What is the password when logged on via Single Sign-On?

Hi,

I'm trying to experience HANA Cloud Platform and now I'm following the procedure that was described in http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/cloud-platform/blog/2013/07/16/using-hana-modeler-in-s...

I've succeeded in account creation and SAP HANA Cloud Tools installation.

However, when I try to Deploy Remote Access Web Application, it requires password, but as far as I remember I didn't set any password while creating account. My SAP_ALL password also does not work.

Hi,

HANATRIAL system uses the same IDP as SCN, in browser both support both SSO and User/Pass authentication but for command line tools only user/password is supported.

It's not the same as SAP_ALL password!

You can use one of the following URLs to get the login screen if you suppress sending your certificate by the browser, then you can use both "register" and/or "forgot password" functions:

Hi Rouslan,

I'm trying to deploy a Java application to the HANA Cloud platform and experiencing some authentication problems during the deployment process.

Tunneling to the HANA DB trough the neo tools works just fine. However deploying the Java Web project fails (with the same credentials):

Acount name: iXXXXXXtrial

User name: iXXXXXX

Passwd: same as SCN

The error I'm getting is the following:

Authentication failed. Check:

1. if the account name and the host are correct

2. the provided user has rights to perform the operation in the specified account

3. the provided password is correct

I'm using the eclipse based HANA tools plugin to do the deployment.

Am I missing something?

Don't use trial suffix in account name. Weird and worked for me after struggling for sometime.
