Solved: Installation of SAP Netweaver7.3 stuck at phase 30...

Dear Experts,

We are trying to install EHP2 For SAP SRM7.0 JAVA On SAP Netweaver7.3 but we stuck at Phase 30 i.e. Install JAVA Engine.

Screenshot of error attached herewith.

OS : Windows Server 2008 R2

Database : IBM DB2 10.1

JVM 6.1 Installed

I have checked "jstart_bootstrap_j23.log" but it's empty.

Do you have any idea.

I had a similar issue, upgrade the kernel and resume the install

Dear All,

Thanks for your support........Really Appreciated

We have solved this issue by upgrading the JVM(Version 6.57).

We have upgrade the kernel then tried to resume the installation but no luck...

We manually copied the latest JVM folder (i.e. version 6 and patch level 57) into the particular instance's exe folder, as upgraded JVM version is not included with the latest kernel patches, so we have to copy manually and then problem solved.

Hi Swapnil,

You can try below :-

If you are overwritting the kernel then please don't do that and instead of that replace the New Kernel's exe with the old one.

Please delete all the installation files(Including the temp) and re-start a new installation.Some times this works as i have faced same issue while installing.

Dear S Sriram ,

I have upgraded the kernel successfully. (720, Patch 500).

I checked Note 1618816 but its for Permanent or Temporary License Already Exists In Systemcopy error, not for Installation, shall I need to change the code in control.xml with the reference of Note 1618816?? But what should I search in control.xml and which code should I replace ? Do you have any idea?

I Have set the parameter watchdog.timeout=300000 in bootstrap.properties file. (Tried to resume installation but no luck)

Now trying to increase the memory in configtool to 2048 but I found that there is only one file config.properties in configtool folder, so I am unable to edit the parameter.

Any another solutions??????????

The file GetInstanceProperties doesn't exist on server.

Yes I am running installation(Using SWPM) with administrator account.

Hello

ERROR ( Last error reported by the step: Process call 'D:\usr\sap\SRJ\J23\exe\jstart.exe pf=\\KEONSRM\sapmnt\SRJ\SYS\profile\SRJ_J23_KEONSRM -file=D:\usr\sap\SRJ\J23\exe\startup.properties -nodename=bootstrap -launch' exits with error code 1.

FAIL: The system cannot find the file specified., CreateFile failed in plugin_pipefopen()

The issue is related to to the file that is not found.

Can you check whether those files are present or not ?

Are you running the installation with the Administrator account ?

I have successfully upgrade the Kernel patch level 500.....

I have problem with the SRJ KEONSRM 23: and when I update the Kernel, all exe files patch level is 500, but when I resume the installation its patch level returned to 100

Please check the exe below after resume installation......................
