Linking universes in IDT

Hello,

Can someone explain how to link a universe in IDT.

I have done linking in Universe design tool in 4.0, Inserting views in IDT. I have documentation too.

As we all know that linking universes is to make use of the folders/objects in as many Universes, as we need.

Problem description specifically in IDT and NOT in universe design tool : I have universe A.

Universe B and C have to be linked to A. I will have to modify Universe A over and over. If I modify once in Universe A, it will be automatically reflected in Universe B and C, since they are linked to A.

How can I do it ? Can someone explain ?

Hello,

that specific feature is available in UDT, not in IDT.

In IDT you can have different views on the data foundation or Business Layer, refer to following KBA for more detailed information:
