Hi Friends,
In an incident, we have an excel sheet with objects like Function, Directorate & Cluster etc.,We need the Key Values for all those objects instead of Text Description for loading the data from SAP to Excel Sheet. In SAP System where do we find those key values for the above said objects? We have some 25 Objects in the excel sheet.
Kindly let me know the solution for this.
Thanks & Regards,
Sreekanth
Hi Kedhar,
you mean key value is the length of field like for Emp Group-Length 1 & for Start Date & End Date-Length 8 etc. Is it right?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
In my query, they want the key values for the fields mentioned in the excel sheet. They dont want the textual description like Start Date, End Date, First Name & Last Name etc.
Thanks & Regards,
Sreekanth

Hi Kedhar,
Thanks for your timely response on the issue. I just want to know what is the Key Value for a Field like Start Date & End Date, Emp Group etc.,?

For Start date it is in date format & for End date also & for Emp group it is any one CHAR,
like this you need to find out in se11.
Hope this clarifies you. Other wise you just try to make entry in field for knowing what is key value for it.
If you want the drop down list of those one's then you need go for config for those value & like in org unit these are system generated number ranges as per config.
