Transport issue

Hello, I have a question regarding a data flow. I have a dso in BW that i am using as my source in APO system. everything is working good but i want to know how to do the transpport for this. the datasource that appears in apo is like this 8DSONAME. so in my BW QA, this DSO does not exist so should i take the dso first from BW-dev to QA and then replicate. then move my APO objects? please let me know. Thanks.

You have to move your DSO to Qua and right click on it-->Generate export datasource. This will create 8your dso name in Qua. So your APO can use of it.

Once your dso is in QA or prod you can do a right click on the dso and "generate export datasource" directly in qa or prod. The 8dso datasource are not required to be transported..

What you said was right

First move from dev to quality in sequence. once  testing was done at quality then move to prod.

pls let me know your landscape. are you on bw3.x?

BW and APO are connected like ECC to BW? if yes then

1. move data source from dev to quality

2. Replicate data source to quality

3. Move data source form APO dev to quality.

Remaining will be the same.
