BOBI 4.1 Dashboard Error

Dear All,

   In my landscape, we have migrated the reports and dashboards from 3.1 version to 4.1. After the migration, am trying to change the data source using dashboard designer tool. I have created one OLAP connection in 4.1 using CMC. When creating connection i have entered the BW server credentials and the connection was successful. But when i tried to change the data source for dashboards i am getting the below error message. Please help me to resolve this issue.

Is that connection server created on message server or application server?

Make sure that you will be having all the BW entries in the system hostfile when you use message server

• Edit the connection or crate a new connection with correct Parameter.
• It is mostly because of incorrect  System/Application server/System Number/Client Information.

Hi Prasad,

   I created a OLAP connection in CMC. Its a sever level connection, not for any cube. In CMC i made the connection successfully. But using the dashboard designer, development team is facing this issue. Please suggest me.
