Save as a format other than XLT or XLSX

Any way to save the AO report (Excel workbook) as XLSM? Saving to XLT removes several years of improved Excel functionality, and saving to XLSX removes VBA---which is what I have in my workbook. Appears to be no option for file format when saving onto Net Weaver.

    Hi John,

It is possible. Keep in mind that AO will try to save the workbook to Netweaver using the default file type. This is an Excel setting and defaults to XLSX on Office 2007+. Go to Excel Options and go to the Save tab. There you'll see the option to change the default save type to xlsm.

Then, when you create a new document and save it to Netweaver, your macros will be saved in the document. Naturally, if most of your documents don't use macros, you can switch it back afterwards. 😊

    Cheers,

    Dave
