Missing information after transporting Planning board profile from Development to Quality environment

Former Member

Hello everybody, I'm a newcomer to SCN, and I want to ask to any colleague the right way of transporting all the information contained in the planning board profile from one environment to another.

The steps I've followed are:

  1. I have created a new Profile for Project Planning board ZPS001_I+D (originally  copied form SAPPS_TP0001: PS: Std. profile 1 for time scheduling) [OPT7]
  2. I have customized the profile ZPS001_I+D:
    1. Creating a new graphics profile in group PS (ZPS_I+D01) within OPT7 transaction [OPT7].
    2. Creating a new customized Gantt chart profile displayed fields (ZPSCV_I+D001) in Table Area within OPT7 transaction [OPT7].
  3. I have assigned the new Project Planning board profile to some existing Project profiles.
  4. I have released my Customizing task and request successfully [SE09].
  5. I have imported my request on Quality environment without problems [STMS].
  6. The surprise arises at the moment of getting into CJ2B transaction, because the system complains about this:

It seems that the graphics profile hasn't been transported and/or neither the displayed fields for Gantt chart.

Perhaps the graphics profile is stored in its own structure?

Should I transport it in a separate/different way? In that case, how should I transport it?

Should I create some sort of workbench request or something like that?

Please, could somebody answer these questions for me?

Help would be much appreciated

Best Regards,

Hi Angel,

I am not that much familiar with STMS Transaction. But I think since you are moving your request number to quality client and not to production client. Then, I feel you should execute SCC1 transaction directly at your quality client and there you can give your development client id as Source followed by your request id. After that Tick Mark Include Request Subtasks Only and press Smart Immediately Icon above.

Not Sure, if this help you out. Correct me If I didn't understood your problem.

Thanks for the information provided, Amit,

But in the end I figured out how to solve the problem.

I had to manually add the entries from the graphics profile table that I created from OPT7 to a new order and then transport it, as usual. I thought that it would be automatically included when I created the new planning board profile, but it didn't. So ince I transported the entries missing in the quality environment, everything Works as expected.

I can accept this discussion as solved. Thank you everybody for your support,
