Create a webdynpro application

Hi,

I'm trying to perform the 'Creating Your First Web Dynpro Application' example from the NWDS. In step 5 I should perform this: 'To launch the View Designer, double-click the StartView node in the project structure or in the Data Modeler view'.

I double-clicked the StartView node and nothing happens...

Can anyone help ?

Thanks, Nir.

    Hi

Navigate to Web Dynpro Components -> WelcomeComponet -> Views -> StartView

Here your will be able to see the view and different tabs, choose Action from that.

    Rgds,

    Hi Nir,

Perhaps 'nothing happens' because the Data Modeler View is already open.

Have a look at the right hand side of the NWDS screen, do you see a bunch of tabs (towards the bottom of the screen) such as 'Properties|Layout|Context|Plugs|Actions'? It's the Actions tab that you want for the next step.

    I hope this helps,

    Patrick.
