Transports

I have carried out a transport from the Development environment which has failed, possibly because the RFC connection in the new environment between R/3 and BW is not mapped. I have requested to have this checked and if not mapped to remap. Can I request to send the same transport or is it better to request a new transport and redo the work? Thanks

Dear Niten,

If the request is ok for your objects then no need to create another request. even if the connnection is not there also there will be no problem.

still you can use the created request.

Thanks guys the transport was from BW Dev to BW QA

niten, use the request whatever you are already created or create another one freshly and transport it to qa-bw

Hi Niten,

Were you trying a transport between R/3 and BW?. What were you trying to transport. There are virtually no transports carried out betweeb R/3 and BW systems. Transports happen only between the R/3 and R/3 systems and BW and BW systems.
