ESS Portal Authorization Problem

Dear Friends,

I have configured the services in ECC and proper roles were assigned in ECC & Portal as well. And required RFCs & JCo are fine.

When I assign my Development user (HRCONS) to any employee and check, all the services Working fine in Portal.

But When I try to access those same services with other users it shows below error in Portal.

What ever the user I am logging in Portal shows me same error. Please guide me, what might be the case, why all users are leading to a single user ?

hi srikanth ,

yas u have to give read authorizations ........once go to content admin  >portal content > content provide by sap > in that select srvconfig and choose ess folder right clik permissions > keep as read to those and try once ..........hope so works for u .....

Try this and tell us, close all the IE sessions and from task manager make sure there is no IE process running. After try try to open a new window and long with different user and try and tell if you still get same error message.

Most likely its reusing the session.

Greetings for the day & thanks for your response.

This is not about user name in 105 infotype, I have maintained all users properly.

I have given Portal content (End User Content) read access as well.

Observation:

Unless I restart Internet Explorer (Close IE completely & Re-opening in a new session), it is considering last username and checking / showing the same data or through an error saying that last user (HRCONS) not available.

Resolution:

Close IE completely & Re-opening in a new session / Making necessary setting in Inter Explorer.

Hi Srikanth,

This is portal authorization error, Just go to portal PCD folder and give the read permissions for the ESS folder where you created portal iviews and roles.

If still you get any errors pls let me know.

HI srikanth,

once if u see the screen it clerly shows that no user is assigned for tat user HRCONS kindly assign 105 0001 subtype for that user with one pernr ...and with other user ur trying assign other pernr and log in with that user into portal for tat user.....and delete HRCONS user in 105 and once try and assign different user u have .........try this once .....

Hi Srikanth,

This kind of error will come when there is no maintenance of it0105 & subtype 0001, pl check the same once for those employee's.
