FOX formula in IP

Hi guyz,

I'm wondering if the scenario given below is possible in BI Integrated Planning. If so, how will I do it?

For example, I have four (4) Sales Group with their corresponding Qty (shown below).

And percentage column should be a planning column.

I know this can be achieved by using a FOX formula saying for group get the SUM for all sales group and calculate the percentage for each sale group. I using two cube, Actual having Qty and Plan for calculating percentage.

Where both has calmonth, calyear, sales group, VTYPE.

VTYPE for ACTUAL is 10 and for Plan is 50.

Sales Group Qty Percentage Formula behind SG A 40 20 =(40/200)*100 SG B 30 15 =(30/200)*100 SG C 60 30 =(60/200)*100 SG D 70 35 =(70/200)*100 TOTAL 200 100 =(200/200)*100

Is this possible in BI Integrated Planning? How can it be done?

Thanks a lot for the help!

you want to 'plan' the percentage values?

To store percentage values is usually not a good idea, this information is redundant. You can use input-ready formuals to calculate the percentages and make it input-ready. In you case you only need the %GT function, cf. note 1236347. This note has an attached PDF document with all the detail information.
