Hi All,

Logon screen is not available to the Chrome browser if i am using the following url http://<host>:<port>/irj/portal,

but i can able to login using the url http://<host>:<port>/nwa.

later i change the  url to /irj/portal instead of /nwa then i noticed that masthead is able to appear.

i don't know why only the error is showing for the logon page before login into portal.

Could not open iView. The iView is not compatible with your browser, operating system, or device. Contact your system administrator for more information.

As per the PAM my portal version is suitable for Chrome.

my portal version is 7.31 sp8

Thanks&Regards

Murthy

You can check SAP Note 1666862 and if it is relevant to your version, applying the note should resolve your problem.

To apply the note, just import the XML attached to the note and you should be able to open the portal with Chrome.

Thanks,

Hi,

I don't think that the note is valid for this as it is for SP5 and the Satya is at Sp08.

Thanks

Is this a new portal installation or an upgrade from a previous version of portal?

You need to make sure that the EP-RUNTIME and EP-BASIS components are patched to the correct version.

Are you using a custom logon component in your portal?

You may want to disable the custom logon component and try accessing portal.

Also, opening a message with SAP would also be a good idea.

Thanks,

Shanti
