Long texts on sales area view from R/3 to CRM

Hallo dear CRM experts,

may be anyone of you know how to solve the problem of replicating long texts. Business process existing in our R/3 system needs long texts on customer's sales area view. Now we need to push it to CRM but in CRM on sold to role view we don't have any long texts. Is there

1. A way how to add a page with long texts on the sales area view

2. A way to tune up the middleware to replicate the texts with the customer records

Hi,

1. You can enhance the business partner screens using the BDT, the following link will take you to the standard documentation:

Or you can use the EEWB to do the enhancements for you (searching in this forum for "EEWB" should give you enough pointers to start from).

2. Since customer long text integration has not been provided in the standard, the integration events towards CRM are not triggered.

=> you can try to include them in a standard object (tables STXL & STXH) or create a download object yourself to get them from R/3 to CRM. Look at the "CRM object extentions" guide for doing that.
