    Hi,

    Can you tell me which component you are talking about.

    If you are not speaking about any component in specific, you can get it using the BOL programming,

    if you know the relationship between the Root object and the assignment block Object.

    For example : Consider an Account and you want all the relationships.

    Here the root object is BuilHeader and the assignment block relationships is a Dependent Object BuilRelationship and the relation name is BuilRelationshipRel .

    Now if you want to get all the relations in the relationship table , follow the steps below.

    1. Get instance of BOL core using the method

    lr_core = cl_crm_bol_core=>get_instance( ).

    2. From the bol core reference get the root entity reference

    lr_core->get_root_entity(

    EXPORTING

    iv_object_name = 'BuilHeader'

    iv_object_guid = 'Guid' " Object GUID in Generic Interaction Layer

    RECEIVING

    rv_result = lr_root " Entity

    ).

    3. Now that you have the root object reference, get the related entities.

    lv_collection = lr_root->get_related_entities( iv_relation_name = 'BuilRelationshipRel' ).

    This should give you a collection of entities and you can generate your internal table from this collection.

    See the screen shot of the example that I used to explain the scenario.

    Revert back in case its not clear.

    Thanks and regards

    JP

    Hi all,

    I have similar requirement. The UI component is Z_component. The assignment block is created by AET. I want the data in the field of assignment block in one internal table and check if newly entered entry in that filed already exist or not. i.e if duplicate entry is entered, then it should display error message. Can anyone please help me? How to use get_current() method for such Z_component? I want proper syntax.
