Unable to Connect failure on server SAP BusinessObjects

I have a test report acessing data in Oracle 11g via the Native Oracle connection. The report was created using Crystal Reports 2011 and runs fine on my XP machine. Our server folks set up a Crystal Server [SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform, SAP Crystal server 2011 SP4, SQL Server 2008 (64-bit)] on Windows Server 2008 6.1. I can sign in to the server via the web based Central Mgmt Console. I uploaded my test report but when I run it, I get the following error: ?Unable to connect....[tmp file name]. incorrect log on parameters.

I have confirmed that the logon credentials stored with the report are correct. I have tried the various loon options in Datasource Configuration:

[x] Use original database logon information from the report.

[x] Use custom database logon information specified here.

I also tried setting the option for [When vieing and scheduling report] to [Prompt the user for database logon], but never get prompted.

I am pretty sure this is a server configuration issue but am not sure what needs to be changed and how.

I appreciate any information that can be provided on how the server needs to be configured and how to test and verify.

thanks.

HI Bill,

Could you have your database admin check the drivers installed on the BO Server too?

CR needs the 32-bit version driver, so make sure the 32-bit driver is being used.
