BW replication issue

A new field was added to a structure but fails to show up in BW following replication.

Here is the scenarios: The initial structure replicated fine. Then a field was added to the structure in R/3 and it was then replicated again. The new field failed to show up in BW. I then deleted the assignment and reassigned, but it did not help. Also, it seems that changes to existing fields show up, but new fields don't. Any ideas?

Thanks, Tommy

    hi Tommy,

try to check in your r/3 datasource maintain,

transaction rsa6 if business content datasource is using or rso2 if generic extraction, check for the new field if column 'hide field' box is marked. if so remove the mark/checked and save the datasource and replicate again.

      Hi Tommy,

When ever u are adding some new fields to your data source , they are usually check for Hide field and Field only, if field only is checked you have to populate with your coding in Exit.SO uncheck it , if you know that the added field is from your base table.

      Thanks,

      Krish
