Can add read-Only DB User but cannot see in authorization

Hi,

I am successfully able to add the read-Only DB User to sap b1.. But I cannot see the user in Authorization and cannot login from that user..

I followed the admin guide for the instruction.

I am using SAP B1 8.82 PL08

Hi,

The correct process is

1.Set a read-only DB user on SQL Server and set following permission for SBO-COMMON and Company databases: public, db_datareader, db_denydatawriter
2. Enter read-only DB user credentials into SAP Business One, Administration -> General -> Security -> Read Only DB User
3. Create an SAP Business One User with full authorizations, but set Execute Non-select SQL Statement to 'No Authorization' (System Initialization -> Authorizations -> General Authorizations / Reports -> Query Generator -> Execute Non-select SQL Statement)

4. Now this new Business One user can only use select SQL queries - in example from query manager.

But please try above on 8.82 PL11 or above version
