File FCC to RFC Scenario Error in HCM System

Hi Guys,

I have Pipe delimited file used in FCC and send to RFC.

File data passing to HCM system, but getting error while posting in HR tables.

But if we test the data from the Function Module in HCM system, the data is posting to HR table.

I am getting the  error as below in HCM System:

"Effective date is either before the first pay date or after the last pay"

I works fine if we RUN manually in FM itself in HCM.

What may be the issue either in PI or HCM?

Regard,

Sreeni.

    Hi Sreeni,

Can you more brief about the error? check the date field and is there any conditions applied for the date field?

what is the status of the receiver RFC communication channel?

Any error in SXMB_MONI? or in message monitoring?

please check the pipeline steps to trace the issue.

    Regards

    Bhargava krishna

Check whether any changes in RFC structure.. If so, update the latest RFC structure in ESR and test it in PI.  This is business rule validation. Nothing related to PI side. You might also check any validation you do in the mapping or so? If so check mapping and udf side.

    Hi,

As mentioned by baskar it is because of business validation. If message is reaching HCM and failing in that system then it could be some validation executed before inserting into table. Error description clearly shows it is some kind of business validation.
