start maxdb service

Hi, i installed maxdb 7.5.030 server for the sap mi client, but if i try to start its service i receive an error which says the service its started but than it has stopped automatically by an other service.

My operative system is windows 2003 sp1.

Do you have any suggestions?

do you maybe have any virusscanner services active?

Please also take a look at the 'knldiag.err' file in the rundirectory of your db instance to see if maybe an error is thrown on the db-side aswell. To find out the rundirectory, please enter the following command from the commandline:

xinstinfo <SID>

( <SID> being the name of your db instance )
