Cats standard workflow TS 31000007 is not getting triggered

Dear Experts,

Cats standard workflow TS 31000007 is not getting triggered we have maintined agent assignment as a general task and functional consultant has mainained in CAC1 and CAC2 configurations with workflow approval and maintained the std task TS31000007.still workflow is not getting triggered .

kindly help us y workflow is not getting triggered.

    Hi,

    did it display error message on CAT2 that 'Error on starting the workflow' ?

    did you check in CATSDB if the workitem number is assigned in field CATSDB-WORKITEM for the pernr for which you entered hours.?

      Thanks for your reply,

      when we are filling the time sheet no error is coming its save succefully but workflow not getting triggered.

      one week back its workked fine but now its not getting triggered kindy give me suggestion.

    Hi ,

    Please Switch on the Event trace through SWEL & then after performing required operation Switch off the trace again with SWEL. Now check the log in SWELS, here it must be showing along with event raised the information about linked workflow triggering.

    You may get information if event is properly linked to WF & thereafter what is creating problems.

    • Hi Kumar,

      Check the configuration, As per the best practice we have to release the saved time entry to trigger the workflow. So, try releasing the time entry and see.

      Also, This workflow creates only one work item for a combined time entries for a manager. So, if you are saving for only one manager, there might be chance that it is appending to the same work-item. Please check the table CATSDB against the Pernr and workitem.

    Dear Kumar,

    Please check in transaction SWI2_FREQ if the workitem is triggerrred. If it is trigerred check if the agent is getting populated. If not then it is problem with the agent resolution, check the rule associated with the task and debugg the rule from SWIA.

    If agent is found try to refresh the organizational environment from the path below:

    Goto Txn SBWP -->Settings --> Workflow Settings --> Refresh Organizational environment

    Also execute the transactions : SWU_OBUF & PPWFBUF.

      Standard is using lead position and also will terminate if no agent found.  Did you do a simulation to check whether any such position is retrieved?
