Transporting BEx variable object. Variable not showing up in prod

Hello,

I activated a BCT query Variable in my test system and transported it to prod with the transport connection after having created a package for it.

In the transport connection screen I pushed on the transport truck icon and was asked for the package and then for a request. I created the request.

I then went to SE10 to release the request. The system then gave me an output saying that export was executed.

The problem is that I do not find my variable when I open BEx and the query designer. Is there a way to look for the variable in the target system? I tried the metadata repository, in the infocube I see that the transported variable is not there...

How can I check that the variable was transported correctly?
