Hello experts

I forget to put ALPHA to one of my info object. Now i am using that IO in several cubes. I went to transaction code "RSMDEXITON",

Gave the name of my info object

Gave the name of routine (ALPHA)

Clicked on "Activate conversion routine"

In job overview everyting went fine with no errors.

Later i went into the info object but i couldnt find ALPHA there...can some plz tell me how it works actually..i read somewhere tat if i run this transaction all the data inside the object will be set properly. i am correct? any help is really appreciated.Thanks

Hallo Kanta

this help you in converting everything in ALPHA conformed . As far as i know, if you want to add the ALPHa, you have to change the IO (RSA1) and activate it.

Thanks for your reply. After running the transaction. i went to IO to check if ALPHA reflected into IO. But i couldnt find, then i manually entered ALPHA and activated. I got the message saying tat you cant change the IO as its been used in several places..Now i want to know after running the transaction, all the old data will be (converted or conformed) and or will be conforming for the data which will come in the future?..hope i am clear..
