SAP Netweaver SP02 Trial Version - RFC Error Communication Problem

Hello All,

I have SAP Netweaver Trial edition for windows installed on my laptop. It is SP02. I am trying to test gateway services, I can see metadata, I can see the service document as well, but whenever I try to see the entity sets, I get RFC communication error. Has anyone experienced same problem?

Following is the error:

error xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices/metadata">

< code > /IWFND/CM_MGW/001 </ code >

< message > The RFC call was not successful because of communication failure 'RFC
error when sending logon data.' </ message >

- < innererror >

    Hi Arpit,

There is huge change in development techniques from SP2 to SP7. You might be using SE80 based approach right? It is past. Current recommended technique is ODC method using Tcode SEGW.

    Try using SP5 or above.

    Thanks

    Krishna

    Hi Arpit,

is there a specific reason why you have installed SP02 for testing ?

Are you using it in your company ?

If it is only for testing purposes I strongly recommend to look into a newer version.

    Best Regards,

    Andre
