I have a screen where I'm using my technique to lookup an internal order and bring back both its description and its order type. I want the order type to be represented as a custom dropdown, because I use it to restrict other lookup processes. My script runs KO03 to display the order, copies the description and order type, and navigates back to the home screen before pasting the values into corresponding custom fields.
As you can see from the video below, this almost works. Pasting the order type into the dropdown field does change the displayed value, but it immediately resets to be blank. This dropdown has no default value selected. If I change it to have a default then it is this default that is ultimately displayed, after first displaying the correct pasted value.
Is this a bug, or is this expected behaviour? I'd certainly like it to retain the pasted value and not switch back to the default...!
