HELP file for IViews

We have implemented EP6.0 and bck end is SAP4.7

The Help link at the top of the all the iviews is not working ( evn though it has documentation file maintained in se80 internet service ).

Wht setting i hav to turn on ?

This makes me to guess you are talking about help link in SAP GUI. (transaction iviews)

is it working when called normally outside portal.

if not i guess you are missing the config.

Copy the HTML online help files to a network share, which should be accessible by your users.

-Run transaction SR13.

-Click HTMLHelpFile.

-Enter WN32 for platform, IWBHELP for area and enter the path to the network share that contains the help files.

Yes it's already there ...

Foll is the URL in the Path ...

sggsgpssm1ms008\projects\sap-doc\baseline\HELPDATA

and if i try to access this ...it's showing the help files .

Wht might be the problem ?

and i hope this will ahow the genral Help .Is it so ? or the help will be iview specific ?

if its a standard transaction it will start the help of that transaction.

you mean from SAP gui outside portal it works and within the portal environment it doesnt work?

probably the help has to be maintained in a separate http server. (its working in both environment in my system where the help file is maintained in a separate http server)

Nowhere it's working .

say for example ..

PZ13 - personal data iview ..

If i run the transation in R/3 ,evn the Quit and help link doesn't appear .

If i click in portal / ITS ...getting 'No Documentation' status msg .

i guess PZ13 is specially designed for ITS service - you should be seeing system and help menus.

may be post this ITS forum to see whether you get any help.
