Open catalog Interface in PR and PO

Hi,

I need help to setup OCI (Open catalog Interface) in PR and PO.

Requirement:

Whlie creating PR/ PO, user can select item from vendor catalog. The catalog should be opened and the required items can be selected. We have the data to login into vendor's portal for catalog information.

Please tell me the configuraitons to be done for this requirement in MM.

Note: We don't have SRM. The requirement is to be achieved in MM only.

Hi

It is not possible to access supplier's catalog from R/3 transaction. Alternatively using custom development we can store the catalog items in custom tables and build logic to fetch catalog items during creation of PR/PO. You will need additional programs to upload/create/edit/delete catalog items from custom tables.

Hi,

It is possible to access vendors catalog from R/3. There is configurations in SPRO:
Materials Management>>Purchasing>>Web Services: ID and Description. Here I have done the required configuration settings. Now I am able to access the vendor catalog in PR and PO.

But once the catalog in open and the items are selected, data is not coming in PO. I am still doing the research on this issue.

I should also do a fast prototype for OCI integration to SAP ERP in transaction ME15N.
