JDK-Version=1.3.1

Creation-User=makefact

Implementation-Vendor=SAP AG

version=6.0.2.4.1

Specification-Vendor=SAP AG

Implementation-Version=6.2.0.4.200405212100

Make-Release=60_SP2_REL

Sync-Timestamp=200405211839

Version History

6.0.2.4.8_ContentManagement_Collaboration

6.0.2.4.1.Enterprise_Portal_Service_Pack_2

while installing EP , it installs the WAS .

I would like to install WAS 6.4 with NW studio on my desktop for development activity. Where can I get WAS6.4 seperately.

and also I would like to know whether having WAS 6.4 seperately on my desktop calls for any licensing issue.

If not , where can I get WAS 6.4 and installation guide for the same.

thanks

PK

    PK,

Theres an eval version here of NWDS, WAS 6.40, EP6:

    https://www.sdn.sap.com/sdn/downloadarea.sdn

Select 'Web AS' from the 'Available Downloads' menu and select:

'SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal on MaxDB, Developer Edition Sneak Preview - Web Application Server Java 6.40 with MaxDB, Developer Studio'

You might also need winrar to extract (if extension is .rar). You can download a command line version for free from here:

    http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

    Cheers,

    Steve
