Hi Prem,

Want to understand what is the business requirement and scenario where they want to create multiple batches for the production order at creation stage itself...... can you clarify....

It would be better to process the production order with single batch.. as physically the entire qty of Production order processed at one time....any deviations here.. means Production Order qty is divided in to lots and processed separately ???....

You can do batch splitting at the time of Goods Receipt which advised as per standard SAP.

If still you are forced to create multiple batches at order creation follow the steps as suggested by the other forum members..

Thanks

Kumar

Hello

You can use BAdI WORKORDER_GOODSMVT to split the 101 movement into several lines, with different batches, during the confirnation.

HI Kumar and Others  ,

Thanks for your reply

At the Production order creation stage itself ( IS -Mill) , no of batches ( lots ) to be created are decided and also I ave to initiate tag printing at this stage for each batch , hence the requirement of creating multiple batches at production order creation stage .

I have gone through , previous posts posted ( Rupesh)  ,but im not getting clear picture

Any help is really appreciated
