Hi Mahesh,

why that? Undeploying would mean to uninstall the KMC portal applications, to remove the KMC tables from the DB and to delete all corresponding entries within the PCD (if I didn't forget anything). Quite critical, I would say...

If you want to redeploy, why don't you - just redeploy (with the setting that all archives should be deployed, independent from existing versions)?!

Hope it helps

Hi Detlev,

Thanks for your reply.

Basically we are facing problems in KMC and when i am trying to reinstall it is not allowing me to reinstall KMC (Error Massage: CJS-00320 Portal Deployment Monitor Error: The Portal Configuration Upgrade report file (E:\usr\sap/TCS/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/cf_installation.report) does not exist. Contact your local support center.), that is why i am trying first to uninstall KMC and then again i will install the same. But i don't know how can i uninstall the KMC?

Thanks in advance

Hi Mahesh,

first, it seems a bit ignorant to ignore my hint regarding rewarding points. Even if my actual answer hasn't been satisfying, you could have signalled your good will at the older thread I referred to... 😐

If this is in fact missing (who deletes just some files on your installation?!?!), create a simple text file with the following content (between the marker lines, without them) and the name given above:

--- starts here --- starts here --- starts here ---

A Configuration upload sequence has started at: Mon Sep 19 10:47:01 CEST 2005

Number of upgrades to be processed: 0

The upgrade sequence completed successfully.

Hi Mahesh,

has the answer been of any value for you?! If yes - I would appreciate it if you would appreciate my time which I've invested to help you - and consider rewarding some points?!

The same still holds for the thread I have mentioned above. It's not very friendly to consume our help and time without saying "thanks" in some way...

Regards

Detlev
