error during transport using file system in PI 7.31

Hi Experts,

We are using file transport system to transport all objects of individual namespace from PI 7.1 to PI 7.31 Mock server.

First we created SWCV in SLD of PI 7.31 and imported it in Enterprise Services Builder.

Then we eported the .TPZ file of namespace from PI 7.1 server to desktop.

Now at the time of importing .TPZ file from desktop to ESR of PI 7.31 we are getting below error:

Import failed: Software component version with name XXXXX 1.0 of XXX.com already exists with different software component version ID. Delete the existing one and import this one, if required

We want our SWCV to be linked with SLD, so option given in below link wont help.

Hi Mateen,

You have to maintain the same SWCV ID (Object ID) in both SLD and ESR. Below document will help you to do the same.

Hi,

if Software component version with name XXXXX 1.0 of XXX.com already exists with different software component version ID,then the GUID of the old and new version of the SWCV are different and therefore the new SWCV cannot be mapped to the old one. In this case, you must resolve the n consistency in the SLD before reattempting the import to the Integration Repository.
