Transport request failure

My BEx request failed with errors while moving to Q.

I just want to collect those queries again and make sure all their elements are captured.

How do I do that?

Once I have moved the queries with new request to Q, Will I have to include the old request when i move the new one to P ??

If you collect up the entire query and send successfully then you don't need to send over the old one...

    Good Luck

    Hi Fran,

You can select the Option of Overwrite Originals during transporting the queries, there is no need to include the old request in your transport..

    Ashish..

    Hi,

Whats the error message u got..is the transport is completely failed or some objects or not transfered..

As per ur question there is no need to include the old request again.

Check whether the objects you modified are recorded in repairs. To do this, you can use the analysis report Search for objects in requests/tasks in transaction SE03.

    Regards-

      Hi Fran,

U can just collect the query all over again in the RSA1 > Transport connection > Query Elements and Transport the request to the Q .

The other thing u can do is check the log of the failed Transport , check what is the error code ( if it is 8 )

Then copy the Query Element . It will be something like this

      Error when activating element YUEXQB2XXZCQ3VWRGX8JMEFQ

Element 3YUEZ6KZZFQ0HI8WH2USYZNVA is missing in version M

If this is the case then u can goto SE16 and check in this table RSZELTDIR and search for what object is missing and u can collect that and send to Q.

      Hope this Helps

    Hi Fran,

If you transport the query and transport with Overwrite option then you should be fine.

    Refer this link:

go to transport connection in RSA1 and collect the queries and all elements of the quries like structures,RS and CK figures etc.

then click on the transport button, it will ask for a request and then transport to Q.

once this request is succesfully transported, no need to transport failed request.

    reward if helps
