Couldn't find gateway related Components

Hello Experts,

We have an Issue with our New Test System and Couldn't able to find the Options GWDataModel and GWConsumption Model in transaction SE80 . We Installed all the necessary components which Includes GW_Core, Webcuif, Iwfnd, Iwscs, Iwbep , Iwcnt ,Iwcbs .

  And Have one more Issue with Odata services . As we Imported an AAK Package into Test System and checking with Odata services,  it's throwing an error like 'No service found for the Namespace' and sometimes 'Wrong GSDO group Assignment for consumption model'.

Could anyone please find out whats the mistake we did and what we need to follow to overcome that issue.

Hi Uday,

please check the installed components on your system.

Start SAPGUI and click on the "System" menu entry and then on the "status" sub menu.

Afterward choose the component details button from the popup window and search for the components

IW_FND, GW_CORE, IW_BEP and other components starting with the letters IW.

As Krishna already pointed out it is strongly recommended to use OData channel based development using the Service Builder (transaction SEGW).

The development approach using SE80, the so called Generic Channel, is outdated.

Hi Uday,

You probably have GW_CORE 190 and IW_FND 240. With this only ODC (Odata Channel approach/SEGW) is supported.

But, why do yo want to do the old SE80 approach and not the SEGW approach?

Hi Uday,

Try to run the report UPDATE_WBOBJTYPE_TABENTRIES and check. logoff  gui and login again ....
