Sending Idocs from multiple ecc to PI

Hello Experts,

We have a scenario where we have to send idocs from multiple ecc systems to one ecc system through PI.

How we can achieve this ? do we have to use bpm? if yes then How?

Is it possible to achieve this with out BPM?

   Thanks and Regards,

     Anirban

    Hi,

do you need to group them from multiple systems before posting to one ECC ?

if not then you don't need to use a BPM,

      hi Anirban,

In IR end you just need to import the Idoc meta Data,

      And in ID end.

Create one Receiver determination for each sender ECC system.

Create appropriate Interface determination with just IDOC name mentioned instead of Operation Mapping with namespace.

Create corresponding receiver agreement and respective receiver channels.

      thanks and regards,

    hi Anirban,

Have the IDocs sent from multiple ECC systems to PI and PI will send them to the target ECC. In case, you have to identify the source ECC system for the IDocs posted, then you can work with population of  EDI_DC40 segment inside PI and partner profiles in target ECC.

    Hi Anirban,

If you do not wish to collect the IDocs from the various sender ECC Systems and send them to target just as it is then BPM is not required and if you wish to collect those IDocs and make it a single IDoc for the target then BPM is needed.

If it would have been same ECC sender then IDoc packaging was possible to collect multiple IDocs but that is not the case here.

Please do let us know if any further information is required in this regard.

    Thanks,

    Arkesh

    Hi Anirban,

As it is just 5 systems you may want to just keep it simple with 5 separate ECC to HCM system idoc to idoc scenarios. Putting it simply :

    ECC1 - PI - HCM

    ECC2 - PI - HCM .. etc

If you are using a dual stack system you can refer to the following link :

    Hi,

No need to use BPM in this case.

Lets say you are using on IDOC Sender channel for ECC1 and based on this you have created one ICO for scenario one.

Similarly, create multiple ICO with IDOC sender channel for each ECC system to receive IDoc to PI and create on receiver IDoc channel to post it to target ECC.
